Panchagavya, five products received from the cow, namely milk, yoghurt, ghee, cow dung and cow urine, are required in all rituals performed according to the Vedic directions. Cow urine and dung are scientifically proven uncontaminated. Since the cow produces milk, she is accepted in the Vedas as our mother. Motherland International Foundation (MIF) organised a programme “Cow… Quest for Science” on December 1, 2016 at Saraswati Bal Mandir, Amar Colony, New Delhi with a mission to educate the future generation about the significance of the cow, spiritually and scientifically both.
